Privacy Policy

Last updated August 28, 2026

Simple Lifting (simplelifting.com) is a small group workout tracker. This page is for the people using it — family crews and anyone who starts or joins a group.

What we store

Your display name, which group you are in, daily workout counts (pushups, pull-ups, ab-reps, squat/lunge), and chat messages you send in that group. Login is a cookie on your device so you do not have to pick your name every time.

If you create an account, we also store the email (and Google account id, if you use Sign in with Google) needed to keep that login. One-time sign-in codes are sent by email. We do not store your Google password.

Who can see it

People in your group can see the leaderboard, pace, graphs, and group chat. We do not sell your data. We do not run ads. We do not give your roster to other groups.

Where it lives

Data sits in a SQLite database on the server that hosts this site. Emails (sign-in codes) are sent through Resend. Google sign-in is handled by Google; we only keep what we need to recognize you next time.

Cookies

We use a login cookie so the app knows who you are. If you create an account, there is also a session cookie for that account. You can clear cookies in your browser; you will have to sign in or pick your name again.

Kids

This is a family workout board, not a product aimed at children under 13. Do not create an account for a child under 13.

Questions

Ask the person who runs your group, or the person who sent you an invite. The family crew on this app is run by the Schrader family.
